Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Trek Start – Toubkal Refuge
In the early morning, a short transfer takes us to Imlil, where we meet the muleteer(s). The journey begins with a beautiful ascent to the village of Aremd, passing through terraced fields and irrigation channels. We continue past the Sidi Chemharouch marabout, reaching the Toubkal Refuge at 3100m. 5 hours of walking. Overnight stay in the refuge.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge (3100m) – Toubkal Summit Ascent (4167m) – Return to Refuge
The ascent to the highest summit in North Africa is undertaken without major difficulty. An early departure allows us to enjoy the cool morning air. From the summit of Toubkal (4167m), the view extends far, encompassing the Siroua Massif and the plains of Marrakech. Descent and return to the refuge. Tea and lunch at the refuge, followed by a free afternoon. 3 hours for the ascent, 2.5 hours for the descent.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge – Imlil – Marrakech
After breakfast, we descend gently along the same mule path towards the Sidi Chemharouch marabout (2250m), a revered saint known for spiritual healing (King of Devils), located under a rock painted in white. Lunch in Imlil at 1750m. 4 hours of descent, and around 1:00 PM, return to Marrakech. Duration: 4 hours of walking / 1 hour and 20 minutes of road transfer.

An early departure towards Ouarzazat via the Tizi N’Tichka pass. After exploring the Dades Valley and its thousand kasbahs, head south across a desert plateau to the village of Tagdilt. Overnight with locals at 1650m. 6 hours of travel.
Day 2: Tagdilt – Col N’Iferd- Irefd- Plateau N’Ouarg (2250m)
The trek begins with the loading of mules. Traverse a vast plateau before ascending to the Tizi N’Iferd pass (2400m) for a panoramic view of the High Atlas Central. Descend to the Iferd plateau and set up camp, frequently visited by semi-nomadic Ait Atta transhumants. Night in tents at 2250m. 5.5 hours of trekking.
Day 3: Almou N’Ouarg – Summit of Kouaouck (2600m) – Igli (1700m)
Commence with a rewarding climb to the summit of Kouaouck (2600m), a non-technical ascent. Our cook provides a picnic at the peak. Descend through Tassegdilt and camp in Igli at 1700m. 5.5 hours of trekking.
Day 4: Igli – Afourar Gorges – Bab n’Ali - Ighazzoun Oasis
Descend through the Afourar valley, transforming into gorges. Pass by the small oasis of Bouallouz and arrive at Ousdidene. The landscape opens up to an immense plateau dominated by the pinnacles of Bab n’Ali. After ascending the famous Bab n’Ali gate, continue to the Ighazoune oasis. Night in tents. 5 hours of trekking.
Day 5: Ighazoun Oasis – Tifdassine – Handour
Departure towards the Tifdassine pass. Descend through the beautiful valley of the same name. Lunch beneath almond trees, followed by a continuation to the village of Handoure. Night at a guesthouse. 5 hours of trekking.
Day 6: Handoure - Ighazzoun - Agdez – Ouarzazat - Marrakech
After thanking our mule team, a short track leads to the town of Nkob, then Agdez before crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass. Lunch after the pass. Arrival in Marrakech by late afternoon. 7 hours of transfer.

After a short 1.5-hour transfer, we reach the mountain village of Imi Oughlad, a gateway to the Toubkal massif. Here, we meet the muleteer who carries our baggage. The trek starts with a discovery of the ingenuity of Berber mountain people. We ascend gently towards the Tacht Pass (2000m), offering a superb view of the village. After an hour of descent, we reach the village of Ait Aissa, nestled in a valley with multiple earthy hues. Overnight with locals. 1.5 hours of road travel. 4.5 hours of trekking.
Day 2: Ait Aissa (1950m) - Tizi Oussem - Tamssoult Waterfalls - Return to Tizi Oussem
After breakfast, we continue our journey to the village of Tizi Oussem, ascending to the bergeries and cascades of Tamsoulte (2400m). Lunch by the waterfall, followed by a relaxing nap in the sun. Descend the same path and return to Tizi Oussem. Overnight in a guesthouse. 5 hours of trekking.
Day 3: Tizi Oussem - Mzik Pass (2450m) - Aremd (1900m)
Leave the beautiful valley to gain altitude, following a scenic trail at the foot of Mount Toubkal with several views of the Azzaden Valley. After 2.5 hours of trekking, reach the Mzik Pass at 2450m. Descend towards the beautiful Imlil Valley with its terraced orchards, continuing to the village of Aremd. In the afternoon, optionally ascend to the Chamharouch marabout on the Toubkal trail. Return to our guesthouse in Aremd. 5 hours of trekking.
Day 4: Aremd - Tamatert Pass (2200m) - Tinghrine and Ouenskra Villages (2050m)
Take a broad path, sometimes shaded by walnut and Aleppo pine trees, reaching the Tizi n'Tamatert at 2200m with a splendid view of the Imnane Valley. Once over the pass, the villages of Tachdirte, Ouenskra, and Tamguist with their stone and earth houses intertwined like card castles will charm you. 5 hours of trekking. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Ounssakra (2050m) - Tizi N'Addi (2900m) - Oukaimden - Oussartek
Follow the path to the Col de Addi (2900m), offering a splendid panoramic view of the villages and passes traversed in the preceding days. Lunch by a spring, with the option to visit the rock engravings of Oukaimden. Descend through a juniper and green oak forest to the Ossertek Valley. Overnight with locals. 5.5 hours of trekking.
Day 6: Oussartek - Imsker - Imi N'Oughlad - Asni - Marrakech
Descend in the morning through the village of Imsker into the Imenane Valley, pass through the El Bour pass, and follow a good mule track through a forest of juniper and green oak to the village of Imi N'Oughlad (1400m). Lunch by the river, concluding the trek. Return to Marrakech. 4.5 hours of trekking. 1.5 hours of road travel.

Day 2: Timichi (1950m) - Tacheddirt Pass (3170m) - Tacheddirt Village (2200m)
Early morning departure for a beautiful ascent passing through the village of Iaabbassen, heading to Tacheddirt Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the High Atlas valleys and surrounding peaks. Descend effortlessly to our guesthouse in the village of Tacheddirt. 6 hours of walking.
Day 3: Tacheddirt Village (2200m) - Imenan Valley - Overnight in Imsker Village
Embark on a scenic descent of the Imnan Valley, crossing Berber villages like Tamguiste, Tinaghrine, and Ikiss. Lunch by the riverbank, followed by an hour's walk to reach the village of Imsker. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Imsker – Tacht Pass (2200m) – Azzaden Valley – Tizi Oussem (1950m)
Traverse the Ait Mezzane Valley and the village of Imi Oughlad. Ascend to Tizi N'Tacht Pass at 2000 meters, offering a magnificent view of the Western High Atlas crests. Cross numerous villages in the Azzaden Valley. Overnight in a guesthouse in Tizi Oussem.
Day 5: Tizi Oussem (1950m) - Mezik Pass (2470m) - Armed Village (1900m)

Day 6: Armed – Chamharouch (2300m) – Descent to Imlil – Transfer to Marrakech
A leisurely stroll to the Chamharouch marabout, return and descend to the center of Imlil. Lunch by the river, followed by a return to Marrakech via the Tahanaout road. 4 hours of walking. 1.5 hours of road transfer.
