Embark on a trek through the Mizane Valley, passing by Aremd village and the revered shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. The trail takes us east, crossing flood plains and ascending mule tracks to the rocky cliffs above the valley. Crossing the river, we reach the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, a draw for tourists and pilgrims alike. The route continues its steady climb, winding up to the snowline and the Toukbal Refuge (3206m), where we'll spend the night in tents near the refuge.

Day 2: Summiting Jebel Toukbal
Early morning sets the stage for our ascent to the summit of Jebel Toukbal, Northern Africa's highest peak. Our route follows the south cirque, navigating streams above the refuge. Although the walking is relatively straightforward, scree and altitude pose challenges. The breathtaking views along the journey, reaching the summit, reveal panoramic vistas from the Marrakesh Plain to the north's High Atlas and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. Retracing our steps, we descend the mountain, heading back to Imlil for an overnight stay in a guesthouse.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Imlil and embark on an adventure through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas mountains.
